Yesterday was Ethan's last day of swimming/graduation. He passed level 2, and starting in the spring can start level 3. Ethan got his swimming basics from Aunty Patty, which he learned very quickly and well...it was a good foundation. But due to the expense of such private lessons we decided to check out the local district park swimming lessons (free) to see how they were. Well let's just say Ethan didn't learn much more and it wasn't great technique, but he didn't care...he was just glad to be able to splash around and have fun twice a week in a pool.
I think what made it all worth it was the diving for coins they did on their graduation day. Have you ever fed Koi fish before? That's what it kind of resembled. Ethan came up with $1.20 in change...so technically they paid us for swim lessons.
