December Photo Project

I'm joining this fun project again. I took a couple years off but am excited to try it out again this year. The goal is to post a picture a day for 25 days. Some posts might be catch up posts/pictures but some will be new stuff. Thanks to my friend Rebekah for hosting this every year.

where did my baby go

Lainey. Our baby has grown so fast and poor thing didn't get nearly the blog time as her siblings. So here is a run down of what she is up to now. As you can see by the picture, feeding herself has become a favorite of hers. The picture doesn't quite show how messy that was but she loved the whole experience. She has been my most chatty kid and is a little mimic. Can even say her ABC's if we say each letter and she repeats them. She also has become little miss personality and really likes to get others attention by flashing her smile and doing something cute that gets people to smile back or say "she's so cute". She be-bops to any music she hears...something I need to catch on video because it's so stinkin' cute. She is a giggly one too which is so cute and funny to hear that we all join in laughing with her. She has also learned that crying or screaming can pretty much get her anything she wants when it comes to her siblings. And just yesterday she plunked down on the floor with a book that sissy wanted and said "No, mine!" Great. I can't believe she is already 18 months old. She brings so much joy and laughter to our family. Oh Lane-Lane we love you so!

we're still here...

Wow, did not mean to go that long without blogging. But since I misplaced my camera cord (again) the whole bloggy thing was kind of out of sight out of mind. So I just downloaded my pictures and plan to add a few posts in the next week or so. Not that anyone cares because I think I lost all of my readers, but I like to keep this journal going for our sake. It was fun just to look back over the pictures on my camera. How quickly the kiddo's grow and change.

So our big news is that we have a new member in our family...her name is Bella! We got her from the Humane Society and the kiddo's and I loved her the instant they brought her out of her cage. She has fit in nicely to our family and I forgot how much I like having a pet around. It has been 7 years since we've owned a pet (beside our betta fish) and the kids were so excited when we brought her home that they told anyone they saw about their new pet. She's a sweety and even puts up with two little girls that tend to get in her space quite a bit...although Ansley has found out quickly that when you pull a cats tail or try to step on her, she will bite.
