Ethan says, while seeing something familiar:
"They have those on Kyle and Tyler's island, mommy."
To a kid who lives on an island, why wouldn't he assume everyone lives on their own island...so to him, his cousins live on the island of Missouri. Makes sense doesn't it?

I remember teaching my 5th graders mainland geography, and they asked me if there was a bridge between Montana and Idaho.
I told them that the land keeps on going and going on the mainland, and the only time you need a bridge is if there's already a river or stream there. They were amazed.
