To finish up our study on egg to butterfly we had a fun 'mirror pictures' art project from a book my mom got Ethan a couple of years ago called Rainy Day Activity Book.
I first drew half of the butterfly...
And then had Ethan glob on the paint so that when we folded it over, there would be enough paint to make a mirror image of the side he painted.
Wah-lah! A butterfly.
And don't worry, this is not going to turn into 'what we did today for our preschool at home' blog. But we were being creative and I think I wore myself out over this one. So I thought I would post while the creative juices were flowing.
