I lived in the south for 8 years and didn't once try boiled peanuts. You are probably thinking "how could you not have stopped by one of those road side stands and tried boiled peanuts?" Honestly it sounded really gross to me. Well who knew that I would end up trying soggy peanuts here in Hawaii (they are quite popular here) and find them to be my new favorite snack?

More power to ya, Erin. Cause I've spent 27+ years in the south and still haven't developed a taste for them. Maybe they're better in Hawaii. :)
Too funny. You mean you like boiled peanuts more than dried mangoes? I tried a boiled peanut once in college and thought they were the grossest thing I ever tried to eat. I couldn't even eat the whole thing and had to spit it out. :)
